Interested Buyers

Homes in Harmony Village are privately owned, so the community has no legal power to force any homeowner to sell to the first person or any person on a waiting list. However, the community values having a cadre of interested buyers so that if and when a unit becomes available, we know that we can find buyers who want to participate in community living.

Benefits and Privileges:

1. Interested Buyers' names will be placed on a list which will be available to homeowners.
2. Subscription to our quarterly newsletter.
3. Invitation to occasional community-sponsored social occasions and work parties as appropriate.

Requirements (must be completed to be on the list)

Have an understanding of the cohousing concept. This will be gained by doing the following, which should be scheduled through John Lightburn at (303) 216-1140.

• touring the Village
• attending a Harmony Village orientation
• subsequent to the above, attending a Harmony Village meeting (third Sundays of every month)

Interested Renters (Associate Members)

An interested renters (or Associate Members) list is maintained for use by community members. Requirements for Associate Members are less stringent than Interested Buyers. However, it is still important to the community that Associate Members have an understanding of the cohousing concept.

Requirements (to be completed prior to becoming a renter)

• Touring the Village
• attending a Harmony Village orientation
• subsequent to the above, attending a Harmony Village meeting (third Sundays of every month)
